Porofarago Gorge is located in Vathia (Vatheia).
Porofarago, also known as Sfakoryako, is a charming small gorge stretching nearly 2 kilometres in length. Beginning its journey from Kato Vathia and ending near Vrachokipos, this picturesque gorge is graced by the meandering River Krommydias, which gracefully flows through its course and eventually reaches the beautiful shores of Kokkini Hani Beach.
The gorge offers easy access and is safe for leisurely walks. Its vegetation is predominantly low, featuring charming oleanders, fragrant thyme, and various bushes. Along the slopes, you can find scattered pine trees adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.
