Nestled within the Municipality of Hersonissos, Kenourio Chorio is a picturesque and traditional village that exudes an atmosphere of rich history, captivating folklore, and unique architectural charm.

The village boasts a well-preserved complex of Venetian wine presses, and is home to a captivating Wine Museum, well worth a visit.

Kenourio Chorio boasts two charming squares, namely Funara and Limni. Funara Square holds a special significance during Easter when the villagers partake in a unique tradition. They ignite a funnel-shaped structure to symbolically burn the effigy Judas.

The traditional cafés in the village of Kenourio Chorio are renowned for serving aromatic coffee and mouth-watering Cretan dishes.
