Odysseia Stables: 7-Day Equestrian Adventure in Lassithi

Embark on a week-long journey traversing the Dikti mountain range, the southern Cretan coast, and the picturesque Greek countryside!

Each day, you'll experience a diverse range of terrains as you ride.

Gallop across the Lassithi Plateau, ascending to 1,800 metres, where you'll witness vultures soaring over Mt Dikti.

You'll rest beside the sea, relish fresh fish, and even swim alongside the horses. On your return, you'll explore the Greek countryside, strolling through villages, olive groves, and vineyards.

Throughout the Guided Lassithi Trek, accommodation is provided at the Country Hotel Velani as well as in other family-run hotels with private bathrooms.

The trip includes comprehensive full board arrangements. Accompanied by a seasoned guide, you'll receive horse-handling assistance and gain valuable insights into Greek culture and the surrounding region.

Typically, you'll spend around 6 hours on horseback each day, while your luggage is transported to the next hotel where you'll be lodging.
