Alpine Travel: Off-Road Adventure in Crete

An off-road excursion is an unforgettable experience. Alpine Travel organises a 4X4 excursion with the initial destination being the village of Voukolies. As you approach the dirt road, the ascent begins and the fun ensues.

A few kilometres further, we make a stop for a ten-minute hike to a small waterfall. Afterwards, we continue to the village of Sebronas, pausing at a café for coffee or refreshments.
The next stop is at Omalos Plateau, where the road becomes rougher. We dine at the traditional restaurant in Xyloskalo, enjoying the breath-taking view of the Samaria Gorge.

After a brief break for rest, we embark on the most challenging segment of the route toward the Kallergi Refuge. 

We reach the village of Meskla amidst thousands of olive trees and pause for coffee by a river, concluding this exceptional experience. Finally, we return to the hotel.
