Explor.gr presents an unforgettable safari adventure in Krousonas.

This adventure begins in Heraklion, where you'll meet your guide and receive a brief overview of the excursion. From there, you'll journey to the scenic plateau of Livadi.

As you proceed along the mountainous provincial road, you'll trace the eastern slopes of Mt Psiloritis.

Soon you'll arrive in Krousonas and continue via a dirt road that runs alongside the gorge of the same name, leading to the plateau.

Following the dirt road, you'll arrive at the Nida Plateau, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the Ideon Andron, the legendary cave where Zeus was said to have been raised.

During the return journey, a stopover at Ancient Zominthos is planned. Discovered as recently as 1982, it stands as one of the most significant archaeological findings in Crete. Following this visit, you'll proceed to Anogia, where you'll enjoy a traditional meal.
