Kotsovolos: A Traditional Café in Tourloti, Sitia!

The aroma of Greek coffee, brewed in a briki, will tantalize your senses and lead you to the traditional café Kotsovolos.

Located a few meters from the square of Tourloti, Sitia, a village where you will have the chance to meet "genuine" Cretans with open arms for visitors.

Green doors and windows, potted plants on the windowsill, photos, and even articles from another era... Kotsovolos will take you back to a time when everything was real and... delicious!

Try raki or beer and let yourself be enchanted by the exquisite meze: dolmadakia (with leaves or/and blossoms, depending on the season), fava, fried pork, tzatziki, spicy cheese dip, xyngalo, sausage, and even pizza...

Your table will be filled with small plates accompanying your drink, and if you wish, you can ask for a portion of whatever you liked the most!

The café has been in existence for 1.5 centuries and also functions as a mini-market.

*The café is open year-round. It opens at 8:30 AM, closes from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, and then operates until late.

In the winter months, it is closed every Thursday.

A high chair for children is available.
