The Metropolitan Church of Apostle Paul, situated in Spili, serves as the headquarters of the Metropolis of Lambi, Syvritos, and Sfakia.
Positioned at the heart of Spili, precisely along the main thoroughfare of the village, the cathedral's construction commenced in 1959, culminating in its inauguration in 1963.
The primary church structure comprises three aisles and boasts a dome. Within the cathedral, the right section is devoted to Isidore of Pelousiotis, whereas the left section is dedicated to Nikona the ‘Repentant’, renowned for delivering sermons advocating repentance.
