The story of Kokkiadis Honey Farm began 14 years ago in Crete, inspired by the founder’s love for nature and passion for beekeeping. The farm's philosophy is to produce Cretan beekeeping products in a pure and natural way, just as our ancestors did, with a focus on respecting nature and human health.
The farm produces Cretan honey, wax, pollen, and propolis without any processing and without adding substances like antibiotics or pesticides. The bees feed exclusively on the rich flowers and herbs found on the island of Crete, just as they did in Minoan Crete, specifically in the Selakano mountains of the Lasithi region and in Athanatoi in the Heraklion region.
With awards by Greek and international bodies in London, Paris, and Dubai for its quality.
The goal of Kokkiadis Honey Farm is to produce authentic Cretan honey and other bee products with pure, nutritious ingredients and the authentic taste that makes a difference. The farm’s honey is certified organic, as are the hives.
This is a rare premium product, produced naturally without added sugar, antibiotics, or the presence of pesticides, according to the posted analyses. Due to the abundance of ingredients it contains, it has been attributed with antioxidant, anticancer, and healing properties.
This unique honey has been awarded by Greek and international bodies in London, Paris, and Dubai for its quality.
In addition to Cretan organic honey, you can find other bee products like rakomelo (a honey-infused spirit), liqueurs, staphylomelo (grape honey), olive oil, marmalades, and spoon sweets.
At their physical store, you will find an herbal tincture that contains over 30 herbs from the mountains of Crete and double-distilled tsikoudia (a traditional Cretan spirit), which has been aged for over 2 years. Add a few drops to water, drink it, and benefit from its therapeutic properties. The herbal tincture is ideal for: its hemostatic action on small wounds, treatment of staphylococcus and herpes, stopping bleeding from hemorrhoids, fighting nail fungus, and relieving coughs.
You will also find keraloifi (a beeswax ointment) made from the farm’s organic olive oil, fresh white beeswax, and natural herbal tincture, available in various scents. The beeswax ointment has multiple beneficial properties, such as antibiotic and regenerative actions, while providing elasticity and softness to the skin.
